WELCOME LIGHT RAYS!
Hello, I'm LeRay Smith, your school counselor! You all can call me, Ms. Smith! Here's a little bit about me! For as long as I can remember, I have loved children. At first, my dream was to be a stay home mom! (High hopes, huh?) After high school, I attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. In May of 2019, I graduated with a bachelor's in Psychology. I then decided that the best way for me to help and reach students, was through schools. I mean after all they are here 8 hours a day! My passion for children and counseling collied and I decided to become a school counselor. Lee University has an amazing school counseling program, so it only made sense for me to stay to pursue my master's in school counseling. My time in graduate school has challenged and prepared me to be a competent school counselor at both the primary and secondary level of education. My goal is to make a difference in students lives. By offering them a supportive, compassionate relationship. I look forward to the continued growth and development of counseling ability.
